About Tea Fans
将进茶 — Where tea becomes a way of being
Our Story
Tea Fans was born from a simple question: what if tea could be more than a drink? What if it could become a moment—a pause in the day where time slows and presence returns?
We opened our doors in Paris with a vision: to create a contemporary tea house that honors East-Asian tea traditions while embracing the rhythm and aesthetic of European life.
The name "将进茶" is inspired by the classical Chinese poem "将进酒" (Bring in the Wine), but we chose tea instead—because tea asks for slowness, mindfulness, and connection. It's an invitation: bring in the tea, and bring yourself along with it.
Philosophy
We believe tea is a practice, not just a beverage. It requires patience to steep, attention to savor, and presence to enjoy fully.
In a world that moves fast, we create space for the slow. Every cup we serve is an invitation to pause, breathe, and be here now.
We don't chase trends. We honor craft, balance, and quality—values that transcend time and place.
Our Values
Quality
We source our teas with care, choosing leaves that speak of place and season. Quality is not negotiable.
Authenticity
We respect tradition without being bound by it. Our approach is honest, grounded, and true to the spirit of tea.
Hospitality
We create space for all—locals, travelers, those seeking calm, or those simply seeking a good cup of tea.
Cultural Fusion
Paris has always been a city of meeting—where cultures, ideas, and aesthetics converge. We see Tea Fans as part of that tradition.
East and West meet here not as opposites, but as complements. The depth of Chinese tea culture—thousands of years of craft and ceremony. The richness of Asian tea traditions. The restraint and elegance of French design.
The result is something new—rooted in history, but alive in the present.
Looking Forward
We are still learning, still refining, still discovering what tea can become when craft meets care.
Our hope is simple: that you leave Tea Fans feeling a little more grounded, a little more present, and a little more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the quiet beauty of a well-made cup of tea.
